Today 26th July 2025, Alaohia Improvement Union successfully Concluded her Igwe stool Primary election as Dr Meshach Chukwuemeka Okpala emerged as the Leading Candidate of Alaohia Village in the forthcoming Isulo Igwe stool election comes 26th December 2025.
A process started yesterday 25th July, with an interactive session where the both candidates, Chief Dr Meshach Okpala and Chief Godwin Onyesoro were given opportunity to communicate their intentions, ideologies and also to present themselves with their manifestoes to the good people of Alaohia.
The event supposedly to be a primary election, graciously ended as solidarism accord where the both candidates embraced unity for the interest of peace, harmony and progress of Alaohia and Isulo in general.
This milestone was able to be achieved through the wise and courageous decision of Chief Godwin Onyesoro when he deemed it worthy to Withdraw from the contest and pledge his ultimate support for Chief Dr Meshach Okpala to continue the race as the Alaohia’s leading Candidate in this Igwe stool election in Isulo come 26th December 2025.
Alaohia electoral committee under the distinguished Chairmanship of Mr Chukwuka Achumie, officially announced Dr Meshach Chukwuemeka Okpala as the Unopposed and Leading Candidate of Alaohia Village for this Igweship election in Isulo.
